Daniel 9
1 in the first year of Daryavesh son of Achashverosh from the seed of the Medes who is the king of the Chasdim Kingdom.
2 In the first year of the king, I Daniel understood from the books, from the book the years in which Yehovah spoke to Yeremiyahu the prophet to the fulfilment of the destruction of Yerushalem are seventy years
3 and presenting myself in the presence of our Lord God to seek in prayer and pleading with fasting in sackcloth and ashes
4 and I prayed to Yehovah my God and gave thanks and said, "I beseech Thee my Lord the Great God and feared One Who keeps the covenant and the grace and love and keeps the commandments.
5 We have sinned and we were wrong and convicted, and in our rebellion we turned aside from Your commandments and from Your justice
6 and not heard Your servants the prophets which spoke to us in Your Name to our king our leader and our fathers and to all in the land.
7 To You my Lord, the Righteousness and to us shame, in the presence now there, to the man from Yehudah and to those who dwell in Yerushalem and to all Israel those near and far in all lands where the banished there have been unfaithful, unfaithful to You.
8 Yehovah to our shame in the presence of our kings, our ministers and of our fathers where we have sinned.
9 from my Lord our God the mercy and forgiveness for our rebellion
10 and not obeying the voice of Yehovah our God to walking in the way of Your doctrine given to us at the hands of Your servants the prophets
11 and all Israel passed Your doctrine and turned aside without obeying Your voice and these are our oaths which are written in the doctrine of Moshe the servant of God because we sinned against Him.
12 and His words arose which spoke of us and of our judgements which we had judged to bring upon us a great evil which was not done under all the heavens as it was done in Yerushalem.
13 As it is written in the doctrine of Moshe, all this evil has come upon us here and we are not forgiven before Yehovah our God to return to our land and be taught in Your Truth.
14 And Yehovah watched and brought upon us the evil for Yehovah our God is righteous in all He has done as we did not obey His voice.
15 And now my Lord our God You have taken Your people out of the land of Egypt with a strong hand and You will do there this day as these are our sins and our wickedness.
16 My Lord as all Your righteousness I pray turn back Your anger and indignation from Your city Yerushalem Your holy mountain for in our sins and in the seasons(times) of our fathers, Yerushalem and Your people will be the disgrace of all our places.
17 And now our God has heard the prayer of Your servant and his pleading for the light of Your presence on Your sanctuary is for the sake of the Name of my Lord.
18 Incline your ears to your God and hear, open your eyes and see, we were dead and the city which we call by Your Name as it is not upon our righteousness that we bring down our pleading before You but for Your many mercies.
19 My Lord is silent, my Lord forgive, my Lord hear and do not delay for Your sake my God whose Name is upon Your city and upon Your people.
20 And I will speak and pray, and I will confess my sin, and the sin of my people Israel, and I will bring down my presence before Yehovah my God on the holy mountain of my God
21 and I said a prayer and the man Gavriel which I saw in the vision at the beginning, flying in a rush touched me now during the evening offering.
22 and I understood when speaking to me he said, " Daniel, I have come to make you understand".
23 In the beginning your pleading was heard and I came to say that you are much beloved, and whilst he spoke I understood the vision.
24 With seventy weeks your people have been blessed and your holy city, to restrain sin and to seal up the vision and the prophecy and to anoint the Holy of holies.
25 And you shall know and understand that from the captivity to the rebuilding of Yerushalem until Messiah the Prince are seven weeks and after sixty and two weeks the road shall be rebuilt in burdensome times.
26 And after sixty two weeks Messiah was cut off, and the city and sanctuary were destroyed by the people of the prince there and in the end a flood and a decisive bloody war.
27 And he(the strong one) made a covenant with the leaders for one and a half week, after a week he shall put an end to the sacrifice and the offering and set on the cover the abomination that causes desolation and until all chosen are cut off for their sake.

דניאל 9:1 בשׁנת אחת לדריושׁ בן־אחשׁורושׁ מזרע מדי אשׁר המלך על מלכות כשׂדים׃
דניאל 9:2 בשׁנת אחת למלכו אני דניאל בינתי בספרים מספר השׁנים אשׁר היה דבר־יהוה אל־ירמיה הנביא למלאות לחרבות ירושׁלם שׁבעים שׁנה׃
דניאל 9:3 ואתנה את־פני אל־אדני האלהים לבקשׁ תפלה ותחנונים בצום ושׂק ואפר׃
דניאל 9:4 ואתפללה ליהוה אלהי ואתודה ואמרה אנא אדני האל הגדול והנורא שׁמר הברית והחסד לאהביו ולשׁמרי מצותיו׃
דניאל 9:5 חטאנו ועוינו והרשׁענו ומרדנו וסור ממצותך וממשׁפטיך׃
דניאל 9:6 ולא שׁמענו אל־עבדיך הנביאים אשׁר דברו בשׁמך אל־מלכינו שׂרינו ואבתינו ואל כל־עם הארץ׃
דניאל 9:7 לך אדני הצדקה ולנו בשׁת הפנים כיום הזה לאישׁ יהודה וליושׁבי ירושׁלם ולכל־ישׂראל הקרבים והרחקים בכל־הארצות אשׁר הדחתם שׁם במעלם אשׁר מעלו־בך׃
דניאל 9:8 יהוה לנו בשׁת הפנים למלכינו לשׂרינו ולאבתינו אשׁר חטאנו לך׃
דניאל 9:9 לאדני אלהינו הרחמים והסלחות כי מרדנו בו׃
דניאל 9:10 ולא שׁמענו בקול יהוה אלהינו ללכת בתורתיו אשׁר נתן לפנינו ביד עבדיו הנביאים׃
דניאל 9:11 וכל־ישׂראל עברו את־תורתך וסור לבלתי שׁמוע בקלך ותתך עלינו האלה והשׁבעה אשׁר כתובה בתורת משׁה עבד־האלהים כי חטאנו לו׃
דניאל 9:12 ויקם את־דבריו אשׁר־דבר עלינו ועל שׁפטינו אשׁר שׁפטונו להביא עלינו רעה גדלה אשׁר לא־נעשׂתה תחת כל־השׁמים כאשׁר נעשׂתה בירושׁלם׃
דניאל 9:13 כאשׁר כתוב בתורת משׁה את כל־הרעה הזאת באה עלינו ולא־חלינו את־פני יהוה אלהינו לשׁוב מעוננו ולהשׂכיל באמתך׃
דניאל 9:14 וישׁקד יהוה על־הרעה ויביאה עלינו כי־צדיק יהוה אלהינו על־כל־מעשׂיו אשׁר עשׂה ולא שׁמענו בקלו׃
דניאל 9:15 ועתה אדני אלהינו אשׁר הוצאת את־עמך מארץ מצרים ביד חזקה ותעשׂ־לך שׁם כיום הזה חטאנו רשׁענו׃
דניאל 9:16 אדני ככל־צדקתך ישׁב־נא אפך וחמתך מעירך ירושׁלם הר־קדשׁך כי בחטאינו ובעונות אבתינו ירושׁלם ועמך לחרפה לכל־סביבתינו׃
דניאל 9:17 ועתה שׁמע אלהינו אל־תפלת עבדך ואל־תחנוניו והאר פניך על־מקדשׁך השׁמם למען אדני׃
דניאל 9:18 הטה אלהי אזנך ושׁמע פקחה עיניך וראה שׁממתינו והעיר אשׁר־נקרא שׁמך עליה כי לא על־צדקתינו אנחנו מפילים תחנונינו לפניך כי על־רחמיך הרבים׃
דניאל 9:19 אדני שׁמעה אדני סלחה אדני הקשׁיבה ועשׂה אל־תאחר למענך אלהי כי־שׁמך נקרא על־עירך ועל־עמך׃
דניאל 9:20 ועוד אני מדבר ומתפלל ומתודה חטאתי וחטאת עמי ישׂראל ומפיל תחנתי לפני יהוה אלהי על הר־קדשׁ אלהי׃
דניאל 9:21 ועוד אני מדבר בתפלה והאישׁ גבריאל אשׁר ראיתי בחזון בתחלה מעף ביעף נגע אלי כעת מנחת־ערב׃
דניאל 9:22 ויבן וידבר עמי ויאמר דניאל עתה יצאתי להשׂכילך בינה׃
דניאל 9:23 בתחלת תחנוניך יצא דבר ואני באתי להגיד כי חמודות אתה ובין בדבר והבן במראה׃
דניאל 9:24 שׁבעים שׁבעים נחתך על־עמך ועל־עיר קדשׁך לכלא הפשׁע ולחתם חטאות ולכפר עון ולהביא צדק עלמים ולחתם חזון ונביא ולמשׁח קדשׁ קדשׁים׃
דניאל 9:25 ותדע ותשׂכל מן־מצא דבר להשׁיב ולבנות ירושׁלם עד־משׁיח נגיד שׁבעים שׁבעה ושׁבעים שׁשׁים ושׁנים תשׁוב ונבנתה רחוב וחרוץ ובצוק העתים׃
דניאל 9:26 ואחרי השׁבעים שׁשׁים ושׁנים יכרת משׁיח ואין לו והעיר והקדשׁ ישׁחית עם נגיד הבא וקצו בשׁטף ועד קץ מלחמה נחרצת שׁממות׃
דניאל 9:27 והגביר ברית לרבים שׁבוע אחד וחצי השׁבוע ישׁבית זבח ומנחה ועל כנף שׁקוצים משׁמם ועד־כלה ונחרצה תתך על־שׁמם׃
